Kratom, also called mitragya speciosa, is a tree from Southeast Asia with stimulating, sedative and pain-relieving effects. Although many claim that kratom is a good alcohol substitute, mixing the two substances together can be dangerous. Combining alcohol and kratom sends mixed signals to your body that can result in negative health effects.
